Prizren is located on the slopes of the Šar Mountains ((アルバニア語:Malet e Sharrit)) in the southern part of Kosovo. The municipality has a border with Albania and the Republic of Macedonia. The topography of Prizren has got a corrugated structure. Elevation ranges from 300 to 2,600 m within the boundaries.
